Tomorrow once he’s more comfortable we’ll make x-rays. Where to start..We’d just rescued two other abandoned souls when I saw him from the car. He was walking on just two legs because the other two are broken 😭The pain… God, I can’t imagine it.This is a dog we have seen from time to time over the last year. He has never bothered anyone, just going about his days. We always thought he must belong to one of the yards there.Then we stopped seeing him for a while.And today, this is how we found him.Someone hit him and drove off.How can someone do that? How can you hit a dog or any animal! leave them injured and in unimaginable pain, and just drive away?And despite everything he has been through, despite the pain he must be in, when I went to him he wagged his tail and showed me his tummy 😭I just can’t.What must these poor animals think of us?But he is safe now.We have rescued him and we are going to do everything we can for him ❤️ It’s Sunday but our vet will arrive home shortly and so we’re taking him there. He needs a name.. 🤎💛 Meet Patchy 💛🤎

Gorgeous Patchy was found trying to navigate street life near some flats, where he'd been hanging out for a few days.He tried so hard to get noticed. He tried so hard to be taken home... even walking alongside owned dogs with a little treasure he'd found clutched in his mouth. 🥺💔The contrast is just deeply sad. Owned dogs being walked by their families in their harnesses, with full bellies & nicely groomed fur - undoubtedly with mountains of toys at home & a soft bed waiting for them. And then there was Patchy.Picking up whatever little treasure he could find to comfort himself & trotting alongside them, just wanting to belong too. ❤️‍🩹He just wanted what they had. He just wanted safety, security, comfort, & a family of his own. 🥺💔Laura & Bobo had to act fast.
