Rusty is a shy, fearful boy and, despite work in various kennels to help him overcome this, he is still very wary of the big, wide world. New people worry him and it takes him some time to begin to trust you.
As kennels became the ‘norm’ for him he has adapted to his environment and begun to relax a little. Staff members are now trusted as friends and, once that relationship is established he is the most loyal and loving boy.
Your Guardianship of £10 a month will help ensure that we can continue to pay for the wonderful kennels he currently stays him so we can ensure his safety and well being whilst he waits for his forever home. We would also like to provide Rusty with some training and rehabilitation to prepare him for life in a home and your support will enable us to do that. We also have to bear in mind that at any time any of the dogs under our care may require veterinary treatment so we’d love to be able to have some pennies in his pot to go towards this.
If you wish to offer your Guardianship to Rusty you’ll receive a welcome pack which will tell you all about this stunning boy and detail more fully the help you are giving. A special keyring will be a daily reminder of the difference you are making and a photo of Rusty can be displayed with pride in your home. Rusty will send you updates 3 times a year and you can ask us for additional updates at any time. He will also be in touch on special occasions!
