Our brave young lady, Tiggy was rescued in Romania in 2019. She was being kept on a chain, trying to nurse her young puppies. So obviously weak and painfully thin it was clear she desperately needed help. Despite various treatments and tests at our vets she made no recovery – it was clear something serious was going on and more investigations discovered that Tiggy is diabetic.
Our special girl made the journey to the UK later in 2019 and after being with fabulous foster homes, she is now living life to the full in her forever home. She is insulin dependent and in order to safeguard her well-being Sadies supports her vet and prescription costs As you can imagine the costs of regular testing and medications soon mounts up!
Your Guardianship of £10 a month will help ensure that we can support her family with the costs of all of Tiggy’s life saving treatments. Insulin, needles, needle disposal soon mounts up and we need to make sure these costs are covered.
If you wish to offer your Guardianship to Tiggy you’ll receive a welcome pack which will tell you all about this beautiful girl and detail the help you are giving. A special keyring will be a daily reminder of the difference you are making and a photo of Tiggy can be displayed with pride in your home. Tiggy will send you updates 3 times a year and you can ask us for additional updates at any time. She will also be in touch on special occasions!
